A MAN in his 70s was assaulted on his doorstep in Bromsgrove by a robber who forced his way in and stole a gold ring.
The vicious attack happened around 9pm on Thursday and left the victim needing hospital treatment.
Police officers located and arrested a 28-year-old man on suspicion of robbery the following day – on Friday.
Following the incident, the force is now appealing for help in recovering the stolen ring (pictured).
