FOOTBALL - Depper-Gwilliams celebrates double at Bromsgrove Rovers AFC's end-of-season awards ceremony

BAILEY Depper-Gwilliams claimed two prizes at Bromsgrove Rovers AFC’s end-of-season player awards ceremony, writes Neil Gordon.

Depper-Gwilliams received the club’s young player of the year award and the leading goalscorer award after finding the net 11 times in just 19 games.

Other awards went to club captain Alex Footman who received the manager’s player of the year award from Rovers AFC boss Spencer Machin.

The players’ player of the year award went to Ryan Moore.

Meanwhile, Logan Postin received the reserve team’s players’ player of the year award, Ben Murphy took the manager’s player award and Jayger Sansoy scooped the leading goalscorer award after netting 13 goals in 14 games.

Bromsgrove Rovers AFC’s first team finished fourth in Division Two of the Birmingham and District Football League last season.




The 2024/25 campaign marked the club’s first playing in a higher division.

The club’s reserve side finished third in Division Six in their inaugural season playing competitive matches.
