JAYDEN Levitt’s magnificent century inspired Bromsgrove CC to an eight-wicket win against Pedmore.
Levitt finished unbeaten on 127 from 123 balls to help the Boars reach the required total of 218 in 37.2 overs at Rectory Glebe.
Bromsgrove bowled Pedmore out for 217 as George Flowers (4-68) and Will Tuffin (3-55) starred with the ball.
The result means Bromsgrove sit top of the Worcestershire County League Premier Division table.
Pedmore won the toss and elected to bat as opener Wasim Ashiq (47) fell just short of a half-century.
A fine middle order knock from Alex Millard (96) took Pedmore past the 200-run mark as Bromsgrove took the final six wickets for the loss of just 27 runs.
In reply, Boars opener Levitt smashed 22 boundaries en route to a century while Liam Ridings (33) supported the former at the crease.
And Levitt and Alex Milton (19 not out) guided the Boars to a comfortable victory with eight wickets and several overs to spare.
Bromsgrove are next in action against Worcester Nomads on Saturday, June 7 with the game to begin at 12pm(midday) at St. Godwalds Road.
