BROMSGROVE School claimed victory in the girls’ doubles at the 113th Midlands Girls’ Schools Tennis Championships.
The pair of Gina Obrey and Grace Hadley secured the trophy after beating a doubles team from King’s High Warwick in the final.
Gina and Grace contested seven matches prior to reaching the final.
And the pair secured six wins from seven matches to earn their place in the showpiece match.
In the final, the Bromsgrove pair executed their gameplan to perfection to establish an early 5-1 lead.
King’s High responded to level the match at 5-5 after saving three match points.
However, Gina and Grace regained control of the match to secure the title and bring the trophy back to Bromsgrove.
