A LONG-STANDING event promoting sustainability and the environment alongside personal health and wellbeing is set for a big return in Bromsgrove.

Bromsgrove District Council has set a date for the return of its Green Fair, which makes lofty promises of ‘being bigger and better than ever.’

The free entry event has taken place in the District for over a decade and will again take place at Sanders Park, on Saturday, June 7 between 11am and 7pm.

The Green Fair is being given a fresh start this year, proactively promoting sustainability, biodiversity, climate change awareness, nature, upcycling and health and wellbeing.

Cabinet member for leisure, councillor Bernard McEldowney said: “The Green Fair event is a brilliant chance for residents to get involved and learn about how to promote a greener tomorrow in the District.”

The Fair at Sanders Park will have information stalls, health, wellbeing and mindfulness activities as well as arts & crafts activities with the aim to inspire, educate and celebrate.

In addition, there will also be live entertainment, a children’s funfair and a food court.
