A CAT named ‘Tuxedo’ because his markings make him look like he is wearing a tux is at the Blue Cross in Bromsgrove awaiting a new home.
And, with the glitz and glamour of the Oscars having taken place at the weekend, the staff at the animal charity are hoping now will be the time the dashing four-year-old black and white cat can make an entrance into his fur-ever home.
Tuxedo was taken into the Blue Cross as his owner could no longer care for him.
The charity is continuing to look for volunteer foster carers to help them to care for pets like Tuxedo. Foster carers receive complete training and the Blue Cross covers all related expenses,
Martin Wellings, the Bromsgrove Blue Cross’ pet welfare assistant at Blue Cross in Bromsgrove, said: “We think Tuxedo is a true star who will shine in his new home.
“His Oscar-worthy qualities go beyond his good looks. He is full of love and we’re hoping he can carry on his adventures with a garden to explore in his new home.
“He’ll need to be the leading actor in his new home as he is scared of dogs and doesn’t want to be in a home with other cats, but he could live with children who will allow him time to find his feet in his new surroundings.”
Anyone who can offer Tuxedo a home should visit: bluecross.org.uk to find out more.
The website also has details of how people can become foster carers.
