FOUR people have been admitted to hospital after sustaining injuries in a large house fire in Bromsgrove this morning (Friday, February 21).
Emergency services rushed to King Edward Road, Bromsgrove around 10.30am to find a semi-detached house up in flames.
Four people including a woman, a man and two children were helped out of the building and placed into the care of the ambulance service. The four had sustained injuries believed to be minor and were conveyed to Worcester Royal Hospital for further treatment.
Three more people were assessed by ambulance crews at the scene but did not require further treatment and were discharged.
In attendance were Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) crews from Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Wyre Forest and Redditch. Police were also called.
Two firefighters remain on scene tackling the blaze after the fire service described the building as ‘well alight’. The cause of the fire is not yet established.
