SCOTT Adey-Linforth admits Bromsgrove Sporting must ‘fix’ their poor home form quickly following a 1-0 defeat against Stamford.
An early goal from Lee Shaw condemned Sporting to back-to-back home defeats at the Victoria Ground.
The result leaves Bromsgrove 17th in the Southern League Premier Central table, five points above the relegation zone.
And Adey-Linforth admits the Rouslers must address their home form quickly having failed to win at the Victoria Ground since the turn of the year.
Adey-Linforth said: “They started very well and we started very poorly, we had a lot of the ball and we didn’t have any answers.
“I’m disappointed with our performance overall, you can’t go that long in a football game without having a shot on goal.
“The game was very disruptive, we just never got to grips with it and it’s my job to find out why and find the answers.
“It’s a big challenge at the moment [the home form] the results just haven’t gone our way, it’s a head scratcher and something we have to fix quickly.
“I don’t think it’s a pressure thing, I need to go away and have a think.”
The game’s only goal came on four minutes as Shaw finished Jack Duffy’s cross from the left from close range.
Sporting looked to respond to the early setback as Fin Holmes powered a shot narrowly over the crossbar while Jamie Soule shot wide on his home debut.
The visitors almost doubled their lead shortly before half time only for Carter Lycett to produce a superb block on the line to deny Duffy.
Chances were at a premium after the break as Charlie Price held Duffy’s attempted chip when one-on-one late on.
Bromsgrove are next in action against Bedford Town on Saturday, February 8 with kick-off at 3pm at The Eyrie.
