A COMMUNITY football club has donated a framed club jersey to its main sponsor to thank them for their continued support, writes Neil Gordon.
Bromsgrove Rovers AFC presented the jersey to James Giles and Sons as a ‘thank you’ for the ongoing and vital backing it receives from the company.
Rovers’ assistant manager Kristian Rock said: “James Giles and Sons has generously been our main shirt sponsor since the club was formed three years ago, and we remain extremely grateful for their valuable support.”
The firm of funeral directors also sponsor tracksuits worn by Rovers’ first team squad.
The club has enjoyed success in its short history with the first team now competing in Division Two of the Birmingham League, playing its home games at South Bromsgrove High School, Charford Road.
And more sponsors are now backing the club including Knights Pharmacy and P&H Lift Trucks Ltd, and All 4 One Engineering Ltd sponsoring the first team’s away kit and training equipment.
Kristian added: “As our club continues to grow we remain indebted to all our sponsors for their vital support, including Broad Street DIY which now kindly supplies tape for our first and reserve teams.”
