CHILDREN from Jellybabies Nursery and Pre-School took part in a range of fun physical activities for National Fitness Day.

The annual event is put on by ukactive, a leading not-for-profit organisation to raise awareness of the significance of physical activity and its positive impact on health and wellbeing.

The day encourages people to participate in various fitness activities, regardless of their age or fitness level.

Jacqueline Walker, the Jellybabies Nursery and Pre-School manager, said: “This was a fun day which helped motivate and inspire children and their families to lead healthy, active lives, the children were all rewarded with a participation certificate and took home their physical play activities sheets to share with their families.”
