RAMPANT Bromsgrove Rovers AFC picked up their first away win of the new season with a confidence-boosting 5-2 victory over Polesworth North Warwick, writes Neil Gordon.
A brace from Tom Hill along with strikes from Jake Byford, Bailey Depper-Gwilliams and an own goal helped Rovers to a convincing win at Tamworth Road.
The result lifts The Greens up to third in the Birmingham and District League Division Two table.
A quickfire double put Bromsgrove in the driving seat in the closing stages of the first-half, as the side looked to build on their hard-fought victory over Nechells Athletic in their previous outing.
Rovers increased their lead in the second-half before Polesworth staged a comeback but Bromsgrove put the game beyond their hosts to take all three points and claim an impressive victory.
