NORTH Bromsgrove High School will hold its annual open days this week and next for prospective pupils and parents to look around and see what it has to offer.

An open evening runs from 5.30pm to 8.30pm on Thursday, September 19, with Headteacher talks at 5.45pm and 6.45pm.and there will be a number of daytime viewings.

These will take place between 9.15am and 11am tomorrow (Wednesday, September 18) and at the same times Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, September 24, 25 and 26.

About the school

North continues to celebrate success with GCSE and A-level results with both the sixth form and year 9 intake both over-subscribed.

With a reputation for academic success and performance within the top schools in the county, North has transformed to be a destination school for the area.

The school prides itself on referring to its North Family as it celebrates its inclusivity, high standards of pastoral care and academic rigour in the classroom.

Along with the core subjects, the school prides itself on the breadth of the offer at GCSE from Psychology and Dance to Computer Science, Engineering and Business Studies – there is a choice for all.

The school has recently refurbished the sixth form area to accommodate the huge increase in numbers as the students choose to stay on and study A-levels.

With A-level subjects such as English Literature, Physics, Politics and Criminology, there is breadth of choice.

The senior leadership team led by Mr Gibson, who took the school on as an experienced leader, has strengthened the school, whilst attracting experienced staff to join the

team. With Mrs Ingram as Senior Deputy Headteacher and Mrs Hodgson as Deputy Headteacher, the school’s leadership is stable, secure and long-serving.
