Foodies in for a treat as Taste Worcestershire showcase returns

Bromsgrove Editorial 15th Sep, 2024   0

THE COUNTY is set to showcase what the food and drink scene has to offer next month during ‘Taste Worcestershire’.

The event will run from October 7 to 27 across the whole county after a successful Taste Worcester and Taste Bromsgrove.

Offers at some bars, restaurants and cafes will be available throughout the month where the public can learn stories of the agricultural heritage of the area.

Taste Worcestershire, organised by Visit Worcestershire, unites the county’s food and drink scene which is accessible through one voucher available from the Visit Worcestershire website.

Asian inspired restaurant, Maneki Ramen, well-known local food producer, Droitwich Salt, award winning wine maker, Astley Vineyard, and acclaimed herb grower William Boers from Westlands are all working together to create a new Worcestershire dish.

Lorna Robinson, Visit Worcestershire’s visitor economy and destination manager, said: “Worcestershire has such an array of wonderful pubs, restaurants and eateries which really showcase the foodie scene here in the county.

“With a wide choice of cuisines and flavours, Taste Worcestershire is the perfect incentive to experience and enjoy it all.

“The county was recently named one of the Best Places to Go in the UK and Ireland in 2024 by Conde Nast and the food scene plays a big part in that.

“Following the success of recent offerings taking place in both Worcester and Bromsgrove in the past year, we are really excited to be able to offer this initiative county wide.

“We’re working with a range of local restaurants to bring visitors near and afar a huge variety of local offers to sink their teeth into.”
