AFTER a mixed week weatherwise, temperatures are set to rise across Bromsgrove, Rubery and south Birmingham today (Friday).
According to the latest Met Office forecast, the mercury will soar to 24°C around 2pm this afternoon. And those temperatures will continue into the evening, just slowly decreasing to around 17°C up until midnight.
This weekend, there is a great opportunity to enjoy a late summer surge and the warm weather is set to continue.
Saturday
Tomorrow, the temperatures will be similar with highs of 20°C in the afternoon. And, although it is set to be cloudier, it will remain a pleasant 17°C or 18°C until midnight – a great chance to get out in the garden for a barbecue or head to a pub beer garden.
Sunday
There is a 60 per cent chance of rain on Sunday but the decent temperatures will stay with us. The Met Office forecasts highs of 21°C on Sunday afternoon with plenty of sunny spells to enjoy.
The start of next week
Miraculously after the week we have had, no rain is forecast at all for the start of next week and it should stay dry between Monday and Wednesday. Sunshine will be intermittent but it should be pleasant to be out and about.
