A CARE home in Bromsgrove has been awarded a good rating following an inspection from the national care watchdog.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) awarded Care UK’s Chandler Court, on Recreation Road, an overall ‘good’ rating.
The report highlighted the positive sentiments expressed by residents, relatives, and visiting professionals toward the home and its team members with one resident informing the inspectors they ‘couldn’t be in a better place.’
Staff at Chandler Court were praised for creating a ‘welcoming and relaxed’ setting and developing ‘positive and caring relationships’ with people in their care.
Inspectors also observed team members showing kindness and respect while interacting and engaging with residents and having meaningful conversations about their lives and experiences.
Team members were also noted as speaking positively about how the home was run and the level of support received from management.
Lilly Dahms, home manager at Chandler Court, said: “Everyone has contributed to making Chandler Court an unparalleled place to live and work, and this rating stands as a testament to everyone’s dedication to brightening each residents’ day.
“Our commitment to delivering high-quality care is unwavering, and we are proud to see this endorsement from the CQC.
“We believe every resident deserves the best possible care and support, and this rating confirms our ongoing efforts to meet and exceed these standards.
“I look forward to celebrating this achievement with the team and residents and continuing to build on our success in delivering exceptional care.”
