THEO Robinson’s last gasp penalty earned Bromsgrove Sporting an FA Cup replay following a 2-2 draw with Belper Town.

Robinson struck from the spot at the death to send the tie to a replay having levelled the game earlier in the second half at Raygar Stadium.

Sporting host Belper in the replay at the Victoria Ground on Tuesday, September 3 with kick-off at 7.45pm.

Northern Premier League East division side Belper took the lead on 23 minutes when Harry Draper headed Curtis Burrows’ cross into the top corner.

The Rouslers almost drew level on the stroke of half time only for Robinson’s shot from the edge of the penalty area to come back off the post.

Paul Smith’s side went close again after the break as Reece King saw his goalbound effort blocked before Dan Moore saved Jamie Meddows’ shot from 20-yards out.

Sporting eventually drew level on 69 minutes as Robinson slotted home when one-on-one with Belper goalkeeper Moore from Kieran Cook’s pass.

At the other end, Charlie Price kept out Paulo Aguas’s thunderous drive from distance before he then denied Jacob Gratton in a one-on-one situation.

The home side reclaimed the lead on 81 minutes when Draper finished at the second attempt after Price made a stunning reaction save to keep out the scorer’s initial effort.

However, after substitute Harry Crook drew a foul in the box in injury time, Robinson kept his cool to finish the resulting spot kick into the bottom right corner five minutes into injury time to send the tie to a replay.
