ASTON Fields Car Park is set to be resurfaced as part of ongoing works to improve facilities in Bromsgrove.
Kelbec will be on site from August 19 to resurface the site. Works are expected to take a minimum of a week. The car park will be completely closed, this will mean electric vehicle charging points will also be inaccessible.
The old surface will be planed off before the new surface is put down. Residents are warned to remove their cars from the car park in good time before the works start to avoid issues with access or delays to the work.
Cabinet member for economic development and regeneration, councillor Sue Baxter, said: “The ongoing improvements to parking facilities in the area is welcomed.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused due to the work taking place and remind residents to remove their cars in good time.”
