THE ANNUAL charity event at Butcher’s Block on Bromsgrove High Street will take place between 9am and 4pm on Saturday, August 3.
Owners Lilith and Michelle Holsey-Sheppard will be hoping shoppers will stop by and help them generate as much cash as possible for three fantastic causes.
Among them are The Hub, The Basement Project and the independent charity Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer, started and ran by Bromsgrove resident Veronica Kumeta who is relentless in her passion for helping so many women across the UK.
The event will also see the popular pair celebrate six years on the High Street – they opened the shop on August 1, 2018.
As well as Lil’s Baps being on offer on Bromsgrove Market – where people can buy them in exchange for a donation – there will also be a raffle with the chance to win £50 to spend in store. Other prizes include breakfast for two at Verraco Lounge, something sweet from Chitty’s Cakes Ltd, a meal for two and cocktails from Eldogs takeaway at The Neighbourhood in Rubery and more.
Lilith said: “I love our charity day and being able to give back.
“People are always so supportive and makes serving up the food a little bit more special.”
Michelle added: “We always have such a fantastic atmosphere around the shop that weekend, with so many people come in just to donate and share their congratulations.”
