POLICE are investigating after a 17-year-old girl was raped in woodland in Rubery.
Following the incident last Thursday, officers from West Midlands Police have been carrying out CCTV enquiries, forensic searches, and other enquiries, as they look to identify the suspect.
The incident is reported to have happened on land off Gannow Green Lane, near to Waseley Hills Country Park.
A police spokesperson added: “We’ll be offering specialist support to the girl while our investigation continues.”
