THE CHARITY fun run organised by Bromsgrove Blood Cancer UK has raised more than £18,000 for the cause.
The event earlier this month started and finished at Bromsgrove Rugby Club, offering participants the choice of undertaking either a 5k or 10k route.
On May 12 – the day it took place – the weather was extremely hot, making it more challenging for the participants.
The 10k winner was Romain Allard from Strasbourg who finished the course in an impressive 34mins, 11secs, especially considering the conditions.
The 5k winner was Lucy Hellingsworth who came home in 22mins 34secs.
Organiser Nicole Harris said: “Thank you to everyone who took part and helped on the day and made it such a wonderful day.”
