A COFFEE and cake concert at Bromsgrove’s St John’s Church will give people a chance to hear live harp music, climb the tower and help support it’s Spire Appeal.
The church will welcome visitors from 10.30am on Saturday, May 25. The Open Day will kick off with a concert from Birmingham Conservatoire followed by a piece of home made cake and a cuppa.
From 12 noon the church will invite people to climb the tower’s 100 steps to take in the views over Bromsgrove. Attendees will also have a chance to try out the organ, take a history tour of the site, hunt the keys and see some heritage crafts.

Those climbing the tower will be asked to make a donation towards the St John’s Spire Appeal. No booking is required but trips will be limited on a first come first basis until 2pm.
