A FASCINATING glimpse into the life of a real crime scene investigation will be front and centre of a book signing in Bromsgrove.
Author Jo Ward will visit The Oaks Care Home in Rubery at 5pm on May 31 to discuss and sign copies of her latest book – Every Contact Leaves a Trace – which details her role as a senior forensics specialist for West Midlands Police.
In Jo’s 25 years of investigating high profile crimes she has helped solve murders, domestic killings, attempted murders, infanticide, and rape.
For Jo, a dead body is fascinating and inspecting one is often part of a normal work day for her. She is one of a generation of women pioneering forensic investigation in the UK.
Her investigations into high-profile crimes have also been the subject of a BBC Two television documentary, Forensics: the Real CSI.
