Farmers urged to 'protect livestock' after sheep and lamb thefts across Bromsgrove

Bromsgrove Editorial 4th Apr, 2024   0

THE theft of sheep and lambs from farms across the Bromsgrove district has prompted a police appeal for information.

In March, officers also had incidents of sheep being killed in Shropshire. Although the incidents are not believed to be linked, the police are urging livestock owners to be vigilant.

West Mercia Police have said residents should also take precautions to protect livestock following the reports.

The force are urging anyone with information on the incidents to visit www.westmercia.police.uk or call 101 to report.

Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously at https://crimestoppers-uk.org/ or call 0800 555 111.
