Spate of vehicle thefts and burglaries in Bromsgrove villages

A SPATE of thefts and attempted thefts resulting in both vehicles and items being stolen in Bromsgrove villages has police on high alert.

A silver Ford Transit Custom suffered criminal damage in an attempt to gain entry to the vehicle which was parked in Shawfield, Hollywood. The incident happened overnight between Tuesday, March 12 and Wednesday, March 13.

On the same night, a mobile phone and laptop were stolen from a black Ford Mustang Mach-e, which was parked on a driveway in George Road, Alvechurch.

Lastly, a white BMW 320 GT, with the partial registration of YH19 and a red Audi A1, with the partial registration BT20, were stolen overnight between Wednesday, March 13 and Thursday, March 14 from a house on Old Birmingham Road, Marlbrook.

To obtain the keys, offenders gained entry via a bedroom window. The vehicles were driven off down the A38 towards the M42.
