MEMBERS of Bromsgrove Probus Club raised £76 for the Primrose Hospice, and the environment in the process, by donating funds in lieu of sending Christmas cards to each other.
The club’s chairman Glyn Cornish presented a cheque to Gabrielle Haines from the hospice.
The cash was raised throughout November.
Members of Bromsgrove Probus Club meet at Avoncroft Arts Centre at 10am on the second Wednesday of the month.
They have a social gathering, along with some interesting speakers.
Everyone is welcome to go along.
