County patients waiting over three months for treatment urged to take survey

Bromsgrove Editorial 30th Dec, 2023   0

PATIENTS who have been waiting for an appointment or treatment for more than 12 weeks have been urged by Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust to complete a short survey.

The survey is part of the Trust’s bid to reduce delays caused by the pandemic and will allow patients to tell them about any changes in their condition.

It is hoped this will help health chiefs to prioritise those in greatest need, as well as ensure patients who no longer want or need treatment are removed from waiting lists.

Patients will be contacted via text message or letter.

In the SMS text message, titled NHS WLV, patients will receive a unique 4-digit PIN.

Patients will be asked to enter the PIN and their date of birth so they can log in and complete the survey.

Those who do not have a contact phone number registered with the Trust will receive a letter through the post including the survey.

A business reply envelope will be included to allow the survey to be returned to Charles Hastings Way, Worcester free of charge.
