BROMSGROVE District Council and Birmingham City Council have announced the changes to bin collection times for Christmas and new year.
Crews will once again be out collecting household rubbish and recycling across the district and city.
Bromsgrove
There will be no changes to bin collections across Bromsgrove district this week.
Bins will not be collected on Tuesday, December 26 (Boxing Day) as it is a bank holiday. Instead, those due to have their bins collected on Tuesday should put them out by 7am on Saturday, December 23, when a collection will be carried out.
There are no changes to bin collections week commencing, January 1.
The garden waste service has now finished with the new one starting in the week starting February 27.
Birmingham
In Birmingham, there will be changes to collection times for both household waste and recycling.
Next week, those due to have their bins collected on Monday (which is Christmas Day) will have their household waste and (where applicable) recycling too on Wednesday, December 27.
Bins and recycling due to be collected on Tuesday (which is Boxing Day) will be collected on Thursday, December 28.
And bins and recycling which would have been collected on Wednesday, will now be picked up next Friday, December 29.
