THE NORTHFIELD branch of NatWest is set to close early next year.
The bank has written to customers to say it had been a difficult decision that had not been taken lightly.
The branch will shut on March 5, 2024, and the bank added it would work with customers and colleagues to overcome any challenges faced.
One Northfield NatWest customer said: “It’s absolutely ridiculous – every time I go in there, it always seems fairly busy.”
The next nearest branch for Northfield customers is the Kings Heath one which customers have been advised to use instead.
Sort codes and account numbers will remain the same, the bank added.
