THE BONFIRE and firework spectacular which took place at Bromsgrove Rugby Club last Friday has been hailed a success.
As well as delighting the crowds with dazzling fireworks, the event also raised funds for Bromsgrove RFC.
The proceeds will go directly to supporting the club’s ongoing schemes, including the development of youth rugby programmes, maintenance of facilities, and the promotion of rugby as a sport for all ages and abilities.
The organisers said this year’s event exceeded all expectations, providing an evening of entertainment, excitement, and community spirit.
Club chairman Clare Foster expressed her gratitude to everyone who attended and supported the event.
She said: “The bonfire and firework spectacular is a highlight of our calendar, and we are overwhelmed by the tremendous support we received from the local community.
“It’s heartwarming to witness the sense of togetherness and camaraderie this event brings, all while raising funds to secure the future of our beloved rugby club.
“The success of the bonfire and firework spectacular would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of the club volunteers, especially Lee Ward from H2O Restoration who takes the lead role in organising this event every year.”
Bromsgrove Rugby Club extends its sincere appreciation to all those involved, as their contributions played an integral role in creating such a memorable evening for the community.
