BAILEY Magee, from Bromsgrove, has become England Boxing national development champion.
Magee overcame Rainham’s Liam Beesley in the final, winning by unanimous decision in the class B under-70kg division at Cannock Chase Leisure Centre.
Representing Droitwich ABC, Magee boxed every weekend from the end of September all over the country.
And Magee’s hard work paid off after training for five nights every week in preparation for the tournament.
He won the Midland Box Cup in July earlier this year and the 16-year-old did not lose a single round on his way to becoming national development champion.
