Fly-tipping reported after police discover rubbish in Romsley

Bromsgrove Editorial 2nd Aug, 2023 Updated: 2nd Aug, 2023   0

A FLY-TIPPING incident in Romsley has been reported after being found by police.

PCSO Taylor from Hagley and Rubery Safer Neighbourhood Team discovered it on Malthouse Lane.

Anyone with information should call Hagley and Rubery SNT on 101.

PCSO Taylor posted a picture of the rubbish on social media and, as well as appealing for help in tracking down the culprits, reminded people to ensure they have rubbish dumped legally.

For waste to be removed lawfully, companies used to remove it must be a registered waste carrier.

And those requesting the removal of waste are legally responsible to ensure the company they are using as a waste carriers licence or they too could end up being prosecuted.
