Range Rover owner avoids car theft thanks to installation of ghost immobiliser lock

A motorist in Hollywood has their forward thinking to thank after a car thief was unable to steal their vehicle because of the installation of a ghost immobiliser lock.

Although the offender managed to gain key-less entry to the motorists Range Rover on Crabmill Lane, Hollywood they were unable to steal the vehicle because of the ghost locks unique security system.

With a ghost immobiliser lock vehicle owners can use the buttons in their car such as those on the steering wheel, door panel or centre console, to make a unique disarm sequence – a pin code – that much be entered before the vehicle can be driven.

The incident on June 7 around 3.50pm has prompted police to urge anyone with information to contact them.
