A TICKLED Pink Summer Party will be held on the lawns of Bromsgrove School at 7.30pm next Saturday (July 5) to raise funds for three very worthwhile charities.
It will be hosted by the Bromsgrove Court Leet Bailiff Richard Harper as part of his annual programme and will feature pink fizz on arrival, a seated two-course supper with wine and coffee and dancing with The Zippers party band.
Proceeds will go to the MS Society, which provides a massive amount of support to people in Bromsgrove, including Richard’s brother-in-law Simon Harper, Avoncroft Museum, which preserves the town’s heritage and The Friends of St John’s – that funds the ongoing maintenance of Bromsgrove’s landmark church.
Event organiser Jo Slade said the event was now in its 12th year, thanks to the generosity of Bromsgrove School and she was looking forward to people’s interpretation of the theme.
Richard added: “This event has been jazz, 70’s, 60’s, even a barn dance in previous years, so I thought I would shake things up with a Pink Theme.
“Everyone is welcome to come along for a great night out and to support my chosen charities”
Email Jo Slade at [email protected] or call 01527 835734 for more information and tickets, which are £40.
