Hunt launched after sexual assault in Bromsgrove

A MAN who sexually assaulted a woman in Bromsgrove and committed numerous thefts is being hunted by police.

The first of the incidents, which all took place last Thursday (May 28) at a business premises on the Worcester Road, happened about 4.30pm.

A  man started talking to a member of staff and then used a piece of paper to cover an unattended phone and steal it. While there the man also allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in her 50s by touching her chest.

The second incident happened at 5.20pm – the man once again tried to distract a member of staff and then used a piece of paper to cover an unattended phone before stealing it.




The suspect was a white Eastern European man, aged between 17 and 20-years-old and between 5ft 3ins and 5st 6ins tall. He also had short mousey-coloured hair.
