Wychavon Parish Games begin this weekend

THE Wychavon Parish Games return this weekend after a two-year absence due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

And the men’s five-a-side football tournament will kick off the games at Badsey Recreation Ground on the morning of Sunday, June 26.

This is followed by the cross country event at Pershore High School on Monday, July 4, sponsored by Schloetter Co Ltd.

The following weekend sees the mixed rounders event take place, also at Pershore High School, on Sunday, July 10, sponsored by Marshalls Transport (Evesham) Ltd.




And the draw for knockout events has now taken place with draw sheets to be distributed to Parish Captains’ within the next couple of weeks.

Additionally, Wychavon Parish Games organisers are pleased to announce that the new website is up and running and can be found at: wychavongames.org


The Games began in 1978 and offers all residents in the Wychavon District the opportunity to participate in active sports and pub games.

And the term Parish takes in ward’s within the three towns of Droitwich, Evesham and Pershore with participants only able to represent the Parish that they reside in.

Evesham Bengeworth were the overall winners of the 2019 edition.
