Talented skier Siena Horton gets England call up

Bromsgrove Editorial 2nd Dec, 2016   0

TALENTED Bromsgrove skier Siena Horton has been selected to represent her country with the Under 16 England Alpine Ski Squad.

The 14-year-old, who attends Bromsgrove School, is currently trained by Ambition Racing and her primary goal this season is to represent Great Britain at an Under 16 international race.

Her selection means she will compete in races in the UK and overseas including the English Alpine Ski Champs in Bormio in February.

Snowsport England Chief Executive and British Ski and Snowboard Board Director Tim Fawke said: “Siena has followed the talent pathway from her early years of ski racing and is well on track to achieve her potential.”

Siena’s other goals for the coming 2016/2017 season are to improve her skiing and to finish on the podium of the Under 16 races at both the English and British Alpine Ski Championships.
