SSS LIONS maintained their unbeaten record in the Redditch & South Warwickshire Combination as goals from Brendan Hicks, Jay Gifford and James Grady secured a 3-2 victory over Astwood, for whom Harry West and Matt Dyson netted.

Will Skelton and Brooke Smith both scored twice and George Skelton was also on the mark to guide Redditch Borough to a 5-1 win over fellow high-flyers Wythall Lions, whose goal was scored by Jack Ward.

Regan Salisbury bagged a brace and Connor Perry-Holmes, George Tolley and Jake Donnelly also found the net to lead Feckenham Sunday to a 5-1 win over Redditch United Cross which maintained the Millers’ unbeaten league record.

Feckenham sit three points behind leaders AFC Thomas Brothers with a game in hand. Richard Lane scored for Cross.




Both Frankley United and Redditch Town remain without a win on two points apiece after a 2-2 draw.

Daniel Gibbs and Ellis Reilly struck for United and the impressive Chris Adams and Ashley Roland netted for visitors Town.


Rob Barnett (2), Sean Parish, Tom Wheatcroft and James Morrall were the scorers for leaders AFC Thomas Brothers in their 5-1 win at Studley Lions who scored through Matt Rowland.

VKL United bounced back from the previous weekend’s defeat to see off Headless Cross Lions 2-1 through goals from Dan Bennett and Matt Smith. Jordan Harrison registered for Cross.
