FECKENHAM Sunday turned on the style to win 4-0 at AFC Thomas Brothers and maintain their unbeaten start to the Redditch & South Warwickshire Combination season, whilst ending the hosts’ in the process.

The first half was very tight and goalless, but shortly into the second period the visitors scored from a corner before the home side missed a one-on-one chance to level.

Feckenham made it 2-0 on the counter-attack before scoring twice late on to seal victory.

Jake Donnelly, Robbie Davies, Connor Perry-Holmes and Jordan Wilson were the scorers for Feckenham.

SSS Lions cruised to an 11-1 victory at Redditch United Cross as Tom Keogh and Jay Gifford both scored hat-tricks.

Phil Sargent, Jamie Banks, Jake Staunton, Ryan Keen and an own goal completed the rout, with Ben Rogers the scorer for Cross.

After two losses on the bounce, Headless Cross Lions were looking to pick up on their good form from early in the season and they did just that as goals from Mitch Sutor and Joe Frampton secured a 2-1 home win over Studley Lions, whose goal was scored by Richard Tyler.

Cristian Duca (2), Ben Baker, Matt Dyson and Matt Fonyodi all found the net to guide Astwood to a 5-4 home win over Redditch Town which lifted the hosts into sixth place. Ash Rowland (2), Brandon Dens and Rich Heywood struck for the visitors.

Redditch Borough had goals from Toby Phillips, Will Skelton, Brooke Smith and Aaron Cripps to thank for a 4-2 success at South Redditch.

Beoley Village beat AFC Windmill 2-1 with goals from Jack Moran and Connor Farrell to rise to tenth. Andy Seager was the scorer for Windmill.

Jack Wilson scored all four of Wythall Lions’ goals but it was not enough to seal maximum points as goals from Sam Osmond (2), John Manison and Matt Smith earned VKL United a share of the spoils in a 4-4 draw.
