BOSS Brendan Kelly has called on Bromsgrove Sporting to maintain their high standards as they continue their bid to claim the Midland League Premier Division crown.
The Rouslers moved seven points clear at the top following Easter Monday’s 4-2 victory away to Coleshill Town which followed Saturday’s 3-0 home win against Shepshed Dynamo.
With just seven games remaining, Sporting are firmly in control of their own destiny and face another two crucial fixtures in the space of four days.
They travel to Long Eaton United tomorrow (Saturday – 3pm KO) before playing hosts to Victoria Ground tenants Worcester City on Tuesday night (7.45pm KO).
And Kelly has urged his players to keep their foot on the gas as they inch closer to claiming promotion to Step Four.
“Given the position we are in we do not want any games called off as we on such a good run of form,” he said.
“After the 4-0 home defeat to Coleshill Town the lads have responded in the best way possible.
“They are playing with a smile on their faces and you can see that with the performances that have been on show in the last four games.
“The lads have reset the standard and raised the bar and the challenge is for them to keep pushing and remain focused.
“Nothing is won until the league officials tell us so.”
Sean Brain (knee) and Max Loveridge (calf tear) are out through injury while skipper Craig Jones will miss the next three games due to family commitments.
Guy Clark or Marcel Simpson are expected to deputise in defence.
