SENSEI Dave Treadwell of Furi Sutairu Karate has been running online karate fitness training sessions since lockdown.
Held on Tuesday and Saturday evenings, the sessions are run on the Zoom app and have been a great success.
They are open to anyone interested in fitness and martial arts. The sessions are growing each week, with individuals logging on to train with Sensei from all over the UK and as far afield as America for the 40-minute sessions.
Sensei Treadwell said: “It’s hard in these times for people to stay active and fit and it’s a great opportunity for individuals twice a week to get together as a group and train in the comfort of their own home.
“We normally train at the dojo but in these uncertain times I wanted to just give something back and try and support people’s health and well-being.”
