THE Wychavon Parish Games continued last weekend as 11 teams took part in the Bell Boating event which was superbly organised by Andy Train and colleagues from Fladbury Paddle Club as part of the Pershore River Festival.

The event, sponsored by Malcolm Limrick, saw Parishes placed into finals based off their total times from two initial timed races.

And Fladbury triumphed in the A final to claim overall victory ahead of Wyre Piddle with Inkberrow third, Wick fourth and Hill and Moor in fifth.

Other Parishes that took part were Pebworth, Sedgeberrow, Evesham Bengeworth, Harvington, Ashton-under-Hill and Broadway.

The Petanque, sponsored by Parsonson Planning Consultancy, will take place on Sunday, July 24 on the piste opposite the Northwick Hotel.
