BROMSGROVE Sporting have announced the signing of attacking midfielder Drew Canavan from fellow Midland League Premier Division outfit Stourport Swifts.
After losing Liam Spink for the season following his horrific leg break picked up in the Birmingham FA Senior Cup tie against Nuneaton Town, Rouslers boss Smith has been busy finding a replacement.
And after Worcester City skipper Brad Birch turned down a move to Sporting towards the end of last month, Smith has finally got a deal over the line for Canavan.
The 28-year-old is better known for making more than 400 appearances for Stourbridge.
