YOUNGSTERS from Jellybabies Nursery based at Longbridge Methodist Church showed their patriotic sides when they celebrated St George’s Day.
The children and staff dressed as St George, kings and queens, princess, knights and dragons.
They learnt about the legend of St George and the dragon through role play, stories and rhymes and sat together with staff for a traditional English meal of sausage, mash and peas and jelly and ice cream.
Mini Victoria sponges were decorated with a English rose which the children made themselves.
