A BLACK Volkswagen Polo was being driven along the A448 in Bromsgrove towards Redditch at around 8.05pm on Wednesday, November 22, when the vehicle is understood to have collided with a pedestrian, say police.

The pedestrian – a 47-year-old man – suffered serious head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

He has since been named as Nabojsa Terzic, who was originally from Croatia but had been living in Birmingham.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner, however police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.

Sergeant Lee Baker, of West Mercia Police’s Operations Patrol Unit, is leading the investigation.

He said: “This was a tragic incident and my thoughts are with everyone who has been affected by it. I would ask anyone who may have information to contact me.

“The A38 and A448 would have been busy at the time and someone may have seen the victim who was wearing a black hooded top and blue jeans. A comprehensive investigation is underway and specialist officers are supporting the family.”

Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 758S of 22 November.
