Stars from the stage and screen across the county have all made their mark both nationally and internationally.

Worcester: Vanessa Redgrave CBE is an English actress and activist. Proclaimed as the “Greatest Actress of our Time” by Tennessee Williams, Redgrave is the recipient of the Triple Crown of Acting, and was inducted to the American Theatre Hall of Fame, and received the BAFTA Fellowship in 2010.

Malvern: Cher Lloyd is an English singer, songwriter, rapper, and model. She finished fourth place in the seventh series of The X Factor in 2010.

Pershore: Toyah Ann Wilcox is an English musician, actress, and TV presenter. In a career spanning more than 40 years, Willcox has had eight top 40 singles, released over 20 albums, written two books, appeared in over 40 stage plays and 10 feature films, and voiced and presented numerous television show

Evesham: Jim Capaldi was an English singer-songwriter and drummer. His musical career spanned more than four decades. He co-founded the psychedelic rock band Traffic in 1967 with Steve Winwood with whom he co-wrote the majority of the band’s material. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a part of Traffic’s original line-up.

Alcester: Elizabeth Clare McLaren-Throckmorton, known professionally as Clare Tritton QC, was a British barrister and a descendent of the Throckmorton baronets.

Redditch: John Henry Bonham was an English musician and songwriter, best known as the drummer for the English rock band Led Zeppelin. Esteemed for his speed, power, incredibly fast single-footed kick drumming, distinctive sound, and feel for the groove, he is regarded as one of the greatest and most influential rock drummers in history.

Bromsgrove: Mark Williams is an English actor, screenwriter and presenter. He first achieved widespread recognition as one of the central performers in the popular BBC sketch show The Fast Show
