A SECTION of the main road between Bromsgrove and Redditch is closed following a crash between a van and a lorry.
The part of the A448 Bromsgrove Highway between the B4096 junction for Tardebigge and the A38 has been shut following this afternoon’s incident.
Two ambulances were sent to the scene. One person was injured but managed to get themselves out of their vehicle. They were taken to Redditch’s Alexandra Hospital as a precautionary measure.
Traffic in the area is severe and a diversion has been put into place to help drivers avoid the area.
There are also traffic problems on the A38 from Bromsgrove and out towards Stoke Heath.
