YOUNGSTERS from Tardebigge First School showed off their creative sides to make an eye-catching display to mark the centenary of Armistice Day.
More than 150 children from the five classes all took part in the poppy craft and painting sessions.
The finished piece was installed on the fence outside the school.
Administrator Nikki Biddlestone said: “The children really enjoyed creating it and we had a lot of people taking photographs of the display, including members of the Royal British Legion when they brought our poppies to sell.”
A week of activities was held at the school where pupils learned about war and Remembrance.
It culminated with a special assembly at St Bartholomew’s Church where the headteacher talked about the village’s war memorial containing the names of the soldiers from Tardebigge who never returned.
The children also sang songs as part of the event.
