STEM grants for 2022 from charitable trust up for grabs

Bromsgrove Editorial 11th Oct, 2021   0

THE Millennium Point Charitable Trust has launched its Small Grants programme 2022, with STEM project grants of up to £20,000 available.

Not-for-profit organisations from across the West Midlands can bid for a share of the money to help fund their STEM (science, technology, engineering, and maths) projects and initiatives.

The Small Grants programme, which offers grants split across two levels of funding, is made possible by the commercial activity that takes place in the 46,450sq metre Millennium Point building.

It feeds back into the charitable trust, enabling it to donate and invest in STEM-related organisations, projects and initiatives.

The closing date for applications is Friday December 3 at 5pm.

Over the past five years, the Millennium Point Charitable Trust has awarded over £2 million to charities, not-for-profits, community groups and schools to further STEM education.

Chief executive of Millennium Point Abbie Vlahakis said: “Every year the quality and volume of applications that the Millennium Point Charitable Trust receives is fantastic, and I’ve no doubt that will be the case again – I can’t wait to see them.”
