RESIDENTS in Cofton Hackett and Longbridge are being urged to add to a time capsule which will be buried at a new £1million village hall.

The memento is being put together by the Cofton Village Hall Trust and developer St Mowden to mark its new centre on East Works Drive.

A time capsule will be buried next to the hall which is still set to open in May.

Member of the Trust Kath Stanczyszyn said: “The village hall will be a great addition to the area, allowing people who live here to get together for events and activities.

“We’re creating a time capsule to mark the occasion and celebrate the extra sense of community the new hall is bound to create.”

For more on contributing to the capsule, email [email protected] or call 07872 985542 before the end of March.
