THE OLD Rose and Crown hotel in Rednal is continuing to celebrate booking its 500th wedding by launching an appeal to find photographs of past marriages at the venue.
Bosses at the hotel, which is set in the Lickey Hills, want residents who have tied the knot there to get in touch with their photographs.
It follows on from the competition to find the lucky couple who would book the 500th wedding.
It was won by Richard Wood and Debbie Byng who received £500 from the hotel to give to a charity of their choice as well as a drinks package for their special day which set to take place in September next year.
The hotel is now focusing its efforts on collecting photos from their last 499 weddings and have asked those sharing photos to stay alert for updates from the Old Rose and Crown’s social media pages.
Hotel owner Andrew Hodges said: “We often receive comments on how great weddings at the hotel have been, and we love to hear that guests have had a wonderful time.”
The hotel is holding a wedding open day on September 23 where couples will be able to meet the staff there and see the venue for themselves.
